Yesterday saw a significant downward …

movement in USD and Yields following the CPI data, with a corresponding rise in all sectors, particularly in the mining sector.

Today, I will provide updates at the opening of the NY market as I am focusing on Asia. There is also a noticeable downward movement in the USDCNY exchange rate, which is inversely correlated with Chinese Asian indices (taking the Hang Seng as an example, currently up by 3.70%).

As seen, the correlation is robust: a decrease in the USDCNY exchange rate indicates an increase in Asia. We will see in the coming hours if this trend is confirmed.

I have identified a correlation between Volkswagen and the Chinese index: if ASHR were to rise due to liquidity flows in the Chinese currency, I believe Volkswagen could also benefit. So, if you want to bet on China without investing directly in the country, investing in Volkswagen could be an idea, especially considering it is currently at extremely low levels.

This is an idea that I will update progressively.
