But what does it mean contrarian?
The definition of the term contrarian is:
“A person who opposes or rejects popular opinion, especially in stock exchange dealing“
The investment approach is based on the concept that trends are cyclical and it is necessary to recognize where we are in that cycle. The contrarian strategy aims to accumulate in the bottoming phases of the primary monthly cycle, the phase of the panic, and sell in the part of the final cycle, what we call euphoria. That’s why you can see with your eyes opportunities in any market phase.
For this I use different methodologies which are: discretionary, elliottian, telemetric and cyclical analysis.
